We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join our team! In this position you will conduct and manage outcomes of various studies that include analyzing, reviewing, forecasting, trending, and presenting information for operational and business planning. You will support short and long term operational / strategic business activities by developing, enhancing and maintaining operational information and models. In addition, you will develop and implement effective / strategic business solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes.

Primary
Responsibilities:
Clearly and concisely present relevant facts surrounding the issues.
Interact with stakeholders of all levels including senior management to create compelling vision, based on facts and data.
Conduct Data Analysis to determine source data quality issues.
Document root cause problems and data samples.
Present analysis with supporting material and interpretation for operational and business review and planning
Support short and long term operational / strategic business activities through analysis
Serve as primary contact point for key business partners for issues or new development projects
Represent department / team at larger cross organizational projects
Identify and triage change impact from cross department / organization projects to team efforts
Generally work is self-directed and not prescribed
Works with less structured, more complex issues
Serves as a resource to others
Required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or High School Diploma / GED and 4 years' of equivalent experience in a corporate environment
5 years of professional experience in data operations areas, healthcare claims or FWAE
5 years of data analysis experience
5 years of experience producing data visualizations
3 years business analysis experience, gathering requirements from the client / business and documentation of requirements
3 years of experience with process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and evaluation of business processes
3 years of claims experience (Medicare or Medicaid, provider office or insurance field)
3 years of experience with SQL and major data bases like Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, etc.
3 years of proven analytical skills, including business and systems analysis
Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
Preferred
Qualifications:
Understanding of the functionality of BI / Big Data applications and how to implement and configure them to meet a business' needs
Previous experience interpreting technical documentation as well as authoring or updating documents as needed
Understanding of SQL and Hadoop
Working knowledge of relational databases, database structures
Experience in a Financial Services Organization
Claims or Healthcare Fraud experience
Understanding of relevant claim platforms (TOPS/UNET, COSMOS, Pulse, NICE, CSP Facets)
High energy and a passion for data quality issue remediation and root cause analysis
Very strong written, spoken, and presentation communication skills
Proven ability to work with complexity and translate multiple sources of data into a clear approach for data analysis and visualization
