PLEASE NOTE: This position is located at our Global Headquarters which will be moving in February 2015 to our newly renovated and expanded location at 1187 Park Place, Shakopee, MN .
The Systems Integrator Supervisor will be responsible for managing a team of Systems Integrators that work on both pre and post sales technical activities including the integration, installation and support of Datacard's Instant Issuance standard and custom card personalization solutions. The position reports to the Americas Instant Issuance and has the Americas Sales Channels as its primary market to be supported. The Systems Integrator will perform the responsibilities detailed below and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
Systems Integration 50%
Manage technology in support of pre-sales demos, POCs, and pilot programs
Conduct product presentations using MS PowerPoint and related aids
Conduct high level (standard) architecture design engagements
Assist project managers in customer conference calls to refine technical requirements, or to assist with technical deep-dive discussions with customers when necessary
Conduct on-site installation, integration and configuration of Datacard solutions including integration with 3rd party products, while developing a good rapport with those customers
Handhold, educate, provide knowledge transfer and generally ensure customers can become self-sufficient on the use of their Datacard solutions
Assist customers with post-deployment issues and identifies new opportunities
Aid Customer Support in resolving customers' technical issues
Conduct software testing
Work with toolkits and SDKs
Working knowledge of servers, networks, TCP/IP, RS-232, Microsoft and Linux operating systems, databases, hardware, fault-tolerance, availability, scalability, and how to identify and troubleshoot issues that arise in any of these areas
Leadership & People Management 50%
Perform general management responsibilities such as hiring, performance management, performance reviews, individual development activities, etc.
Monitor team performance against department standards, and ensure that these standards are consistently met or exceeded
Assisting in disciplinary decisions and action
Act as escalation point for issues and provide leadership and guidance to team
Provide necessary work direction and manage projects effectively through planning, organization and project management
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
Minimum of 2 years' experience managing or supervising people
Minimum of 7 years of relevant corporate or commercial experience
Experience integrating software and solutions for external customers
Demonstrated success in effectively communicating at all levels of an organization
Capable of learning new technology and products quickly
Capable of working in and for small teams
Demonstrate a business acumen with customers that promotes good rapport and win-win
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
Card personalization industry experience including EMV migration
Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Key Management
Ability and willingness to travel up to 40%
Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US
Preferred
Qualifications:
Database analysis, design, programming (T-SQL) and automated/silent software packaging experience is a plus
Demonstrated situational leadership abilities
