Position
Summary:
As a Senior .NET Developer you will be involved in key technology projects for Associated Financial Group. You'll be an integral part of a team, which is responsible for the development of new systems and enhancement of existing systems. This includes implementing .NET web & client/server solutions, working with Microsoft SQL Server databases, understanding the technical systems at Associated Financial Group and what their business purpose is, and ensuring technical documentation is complete and accurate.
Job Duties:
Translate business requirements into technical solutions through both individual and group design sessions.
Develop .NET applications using Visual Studio and Microsoft SQL Server.
Write code for database access, modifications, and constructions including stored procedures, user defined functions, and triggers.
Implement data models and database designs; resolves database performance issues and other distributed data issues.
Being a key problem solver for performance, development, and production issues
Research and recommend technologies that address technical and business requirements.
Job Requirements (minimum):
4-year college degree or equivalent IT industry experience
5 years progressive IT Experience in .NET development capacity
Good interpersonal and problem solving skills
Experience with all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle in both waterfall & Agile work environments
Strong relational database development skills
Ability to work under the supervision of a team lead, to work independently, and as part of multiple teams on overlapping projects.
Preferred Requirements (minimum):
5 - 8 years progressive IT Experience in .NET development capacity
C# / / AJAX / DotNetNuke (DNN) / WPF / WCF experience
Windows & Web Service development experience
Ability to work with minimal direction from management
Ability to work with both business and technical teams
Experience working with Sales & Marketing teams in the Financial Services industry
