Description: The location of this position may vary between Vadnais Heights and surrounding communities.
Description of Duties
-Develop and investigate loan opportunities, attract borrowers, increase loan portfolio and improve penetration into the communities we serve through internal and external means of contact/origination.
-Review and analyze customer-s financial condition; evaluate collateral and repayment source, profitability yield analysis; and identifies and estimates risk factors through a concise underwriting process consistent with the polices and procedures established by the Board of Directors.
-Manages existing loan portfolio through contact with customers in order to ensure complete conformity with terms of loan. Manage the tickler system, past dues, and customer overdrafts. Ensure the portfolio has accurate risk ratings. Complete renewals in a timely manner.
-Promotes and cross-sells other establishment products and services as appropriate to customer requirements.
-Monitor existing loan portfolio through contact with customers in order to ensure complete conformity with terms of loan.
-Maintains a working knowledge of all laws and regulations related to the job/area to ensure all duties and tasks performed are in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
-Knows the customers in the market territory, keeps up-to-date on key competitors, understands and responds to the needs and expectations of relevant customer segments, establishes effective working relationships with internal and external customers to gain their respect; and identifies opportunities presented by changes and shifts in the marketplace.
-Prepare and maintain various reports required by management and/or other regulators in a timely and accurate manner.
-Displays knowledge and proficiency in explaining, selling, and administering products; trains and coaches other salespersons within the branch.

Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications
-Bachelor''s degree or equivalent
-1-3 years previous Commercial Banking Experience
-Strong sales skills with a proven ability to close the business; basic computer skills and good written and verbal communication skills.
-A thorough knowledge of understanding business and personal financial statements/tax returns and the ability to use their sales skills in negotiating financial terms.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
