Sr. Business Analyst

Works as a liaison among business operations, technology groups, clients, business partners, vendors, and enterprise project management office to understand, analyze, and facilitate business needs, requirements, and impacts of business changes as a result of strategic initiatives, operational changes, compliance requirements, client needs, and technology or operational improvements.
Works independently on large complex work efforts or leads a team of BAs working on smaller efforts. Identify, analyze, specify and model business needs and requirements. Works with stakeholders of the project or work effort to facilitate understanding of the business change, details, and impacts associated with the change. Communicates and facilitates the activities and deliverables associated with business requirements, business processes, options and alternatives, validation and testing of solutions, training and implementation. May also provide ongoing support for solutions.
Responsibilities:
o Define the business need and business case of the work effort or project
o Plan the business analysis approach & activities
o Identify stakeholders of the work effort, how they are impacted, and what their needs and role are to effectively engage in the effort
o Assess capability gaps, determine solution options and approach, and define solution scope
o Prepare for, conduct, and document elicitation sessions using a variety of techniques (Interviewing, requirements workshops, reviewing existing documentation, Observation, brainstorming, etc.)
o Manage solution scope, changes to requirements, and requirements conflicts
o Manage requirements traceability of requirements back to solution scope and objectives, and forwards to system requirements and testing
o Organize, prioritize, specify and model requirements
o Prepare requirements package & communicate to stakeholders
o Verify and validate requirements with project team and stakeholders
o Assess the proposed solution for alignment to business needs, requirements, and impacts to operations, processes, technology, vendors, partners and clients.
o Identify and facilitate business process improvements
o Allocate requirements to solution releases and operational units
o Assess organizational readiness to make technical, operational and behavioral changes needed to make the effort a success, including assisting in implementation communications and training
o Validate the new solution meets the business need and provides the expected business value to stakeholders
o Define transition requirements needed to implement the solution including: training of end users, implementation planning, implementation details needed to transition to the new solution when ready
o Evaluate solution performance once implemented for business usage and value as indented
o Lead the work of other BAs on large work efforts
o Mentor and coach Associate BAs and BAs as they learn new techniques and gain more complex experience
o Other duties as assigned
Minimum
Qualifications:
o Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
o 4
years related work experience in business analysis
Preferred
Qualifications:
o PBM experience
o Business unit/domain knowledge of business unit the position is supporting
o Experience in client relationship management
o Completion of the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA) certification and/or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification
o Advanced understanding of the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK)
o Demonstrated experience in business analysis on large complex projects or varying project types
o Demonstrated experience in eliciting requirements using a variety of techniques
o Demonstrated experience in specifying and modeling requirements
o Demonstrated experience in facilitating business process improvements
o Demonstrated drive to deliver results
o Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
o Demonstrated curiosity and quick learner

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
