Sr. Structural Engineer

SENIOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER / CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER
Strom Minnesota is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer / Construction Engineer for our clients Minneapolis / St. Paul, Minnesota area office. Company is a structural / geotechnical firm specializing in the analysis and design of earth retention systems, cofferdams, specialty deep foundations, foundation underpinning, slope stabilization, structural and foundation design for buried civil works and underground structures, structural demolition, structural shoring, and a variety of construction engineering related tasks. Service delivery is primarily on a design-build basis with contractor teaming partners. The firm has a unique market position with current projects and opportunities throughout the Upper Midwest and the Central United States.
Minimum Qualifications
Licensed professional engineer.
10 years of relevant project experience (structural engineering / construction engineering), including technical design experience, project management, and business development experience (tracking, pursuing, and securing project opportunities).
Proficiency in structural analysis and design of steel and concrete structures.
Knowledge of the International Building Code and reference material codes (e.g., AISC, ACI, etc.).
Read, analyze, and interpret technical documents (e.g., civil, structural, architectural drawings).
Communicate detailed technical concepts with internal team members and with clients, both verbally and in writing.
Set priorities, assign tasks, and coordinate project staff to meet project deadlines.
Conduct meetings with clients and other team members for purposes of project planning and to communicate project status.
The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and must be self-motivated with an ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Structural Engineering.
Specific structural shoring, falsework, and formwork analysis and design experience.
Structural demolition plan preparation experience.
Masonry and wood structural analysis and design proficiency.
Experience with structural design software such as RISA, STAAD, Mathcad, etc.
This is a full-time exempt position with medical / dental insurance and 401k retirement benefits. The individual would be based in the Minneapolis / St. Paul area with the potential to work out of a home office with participation in weekly meetings hosted at the company office.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
