The West Regional Director of Nursing is a registered professional nurse serving as the nursing executive and providing subject matter expertise (SME) to branch nurse leaders and GMs, providing support to the operational delivery of nursing patient care for all therapies within their assigned region, whether branch based acute or more geographically aligned chronic or specialty home therapies.
This role requires a focus on directing nursing strategic growth and development of our ambulatory infusion suites (AIS) and ambulatory infusion clinics (AIC).
As a senior nurse leader, responsible for strategic initiatives within organizational nurse leadership teams to improve services and clinical outcomes, maintaining satisfactory outcomes, and contributing to the profitability of the organization.
They will be responsible and have accountability for the oversight and execution of the home infusion nursing products, programs, and services provided by BriovaRx Infusion Services within the region.
The West market regions include AZ, AK, CA, CO, ID, MT, NM, NV, UT, WA, WY, with ND & SD, as an annex.
This individual is accountable for ensuring clinically compliant best practices and programs are followed, ensure training of all nursing personnel (employees and agencies) to these standards, and measuring operational compliance via dashboards and audits as necessary.
Assumes responsibility to risk and safety issues associated with the position.
They will provide oversight to help ensure all contracted agencies are following company protocols and SOPs.
Within the region, drive productivity and staffing standards to both optimize patient experience / satisfaction and reduce overtime attributable to nursing services.
This individual will exercise considerable judgment and indirect (matrix) leadership for Branch Directors of Nursing (DONs) in applying professional knowledge to solving complex nursing and business problems within established policies and practices.
Provide direct leadership to Nurse Managers within the Region not assigned to a specific Branch.
The position will be expected to create a positive, collaborative work environment, ensure that operations comply with established standards and regulations and provides guidance to staff and acting as a resource to colleagues.
Candidate is required to reside in the Western Region and will have the flexibility to work remotely as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive support to Branch Nurse Leaders for acute and chronic nursing to include assistance with recruiting, hiring, training, productivity, and performance of all staff nursesDefines and maintains the quality Standards of Nursing Practice within suites and centersDirect management and oversight of 6-10 direct and around 200 indirect reportsEnsure region / market nurse leaders are providing all patients in nursing queue with qualified, trained, and competent compassionate care in a timely, cost-effective methodProvide input on policies, procedures and best practices to the Quality Management Team and those directives are implemented at the branch levelDevelops, maintains, communicates, and executes a vision and a plan for continual improvement and provision of exceptional quality infusion nursing serviceDevelops and maintains programs for auditing, inspections, and standards of care with considerable attention on Plans of Treatment (POT), post infusion calls, chart audits, PI Program adherenceWork with corporate colleagues and senior leadership to establish, implement and monitor nursing department budgets and cost saving initiativesWork closely with all nurse managers within the region to maintain operational rhythm and communication; heavy focus on training and mentoring of nurse leaders / managersLeads regular nurse groups/meetings to ensure team engagement, focus on burn out, current regulations, training and new drug information is disseminated effectivelyHR functions to include interviewing and selection of Branch Nurse Leadership in conjunction with Branch Leader (GM), input on performance reviews and evaluations from a Clinical perspectiveAccountable for oversight and compliance with all state specific Home Health agency licensure and regulatory requirementsSupport and partner on business development, particularly the ability to grow patient base through partnerships with sales and payers.
Clinical leadership in developing Ambulatory Infusion models.

Qualifications:
BSNCurrent, unrestricted RN license in state of residence or assigned region5
years of experience working as an RN in a clinical care setting that contributes to proficiency in infusion therapy (such as medical surgical unit, emergency department, intensive care unit, post-anesthesia care unit, or similar setting)3
years of management experience within a healthcare environmentDemonstrated expertise in one or more areas of clinical standards of practiceDemonstrated competencies in cross functional leadership, critical thinking interpersonal relationships, and technical skillOperational performance management experience including use of performance metricsFamiliarity with state specific Home Health agency licensure and regulatory requirementsProven ability to work with a cross-functional team of professionals including dietitians, pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, nurses, case managers, discharge planners, physicians, outside nursing agencies, patients, families, and caregiversReside in the Western RegionWilling or ability to travel as requiredPreferred

The salary range for California, Colorado, Nevada, or Washington residents is $118,000 to $226,800 per year.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
