As a member of the Employer & Individual Advocacy team, the Director of Product E&I Advocacy Growth is responsible for leading market growth strategy and business development efforts.
This person will work closely with sales partners from both National Accounts and Local Markets to deliver a consistent, comprehensive and compelling value story to the market.
The role will also help to directly influence the E&I consumer experience by partnering closely with Advocacy product owners to ensure current and future capabilities reflect market demand and address top member and employer needs and ultimately help ensure we are providing the best member experience possible.

Responsibilities:
Drive overall enhanced advocacy and complex health advocacy growth strategy with special focus on proactive win back against external advocacy vendors and renewals engagementOwn advocacy growth and integration into local markets for core and enhanced advocacy products, including forging relationship with local market leadersIterate employer-facing messaging to ensure UHC Advocacy value proposition stands out in crowded market space, leveraging differentiating capabilities, proven success metrics and customer/member impact examplesServe as subject matter expert with deep market acumen to enhance RFP responses and lead high profile capability/finalist meetings for all audiences (existing clients, new business, consultants/brokers)Develop and maintain strong relationships with sales partners to successfully manage real-time sales feedback loop used to influence product roadmapOversee enhanced advocacy and complex health advocacy pipeline & active client roster to proactively identify client opportunities and retention risks; produce reporting for executive leadershipMonitor and track advocacy sales metrics (e.

Qualifications:

years of B2B marketing/health care communication experience7
years of working directly with sales to drive product growth with proven record of new business wins and existing client retention7
years of leveraging market intel and strategic insights to develop and deliver compelling product value proposition5
years of experience presenting to external audiences in high pressure meetings with executive leaders (customers, consultants, brokers) that require ability to flex presentation content and timing and respond to inquiries with both accuracy and confidenceWell-versed in previous roles in ability to quickly learn new product features and market nuances (national and local) to deliver targeted growth strategy recommendationsExcellent planning and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines; Showcasing a bias for action is criticalAbility to build relationships with partners in a highly matrixed organization, work with resources outside of immediate team and influence without authorityImpeccable interpersonal and business communication skillsPreferred
Qualifications:

The salary range for this role is $122,100 to $234,700 annually.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.
