Payroll Manager

This role is part of a team that processes multi-state payroll for over 3,600 employees on a bi-weekly basis.
The primary objective of this role is to provide support for payroll processing related activities such as entering hires, status changes, terminations, processing voluntary and involuntary deductions, balancing and reconciling payroll reports, processing wage garnishments, maintaining awareness and compliance of applicable federal, state and local laws, and day-to-day data entry.
The ideal candidate will be able to use payroll software with accuracy and efficiency.
They are attentive to detail, highly organized, good with numbers and can be trusted with sensitive information.
Essential Functions:
Maintain accuracy of all employee data in payroll and time-tracking system Enter and audit hires, status changes, terminations, tax and direct deposit changes Audit timecards prior to payroll processing Prepare, audit and distribute payroll reports Effectively perform various audits, document procedures, and implement best practices Process wage garnishments, child support orders, tax levies, etc.
Troubleshoot and resolve payroll/tax reporting issues Must be able to work as a team player and adapt to change Complete special projects and assignments as directed by the Payroll Manager KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

years of payroll experience Workday Time Tracking and Absence experience preferred ADP Enterprise (EV5 or EV6) experience preferred FPC/CPP designation preferred Associates degree preferred #CBAUG2023 Recommended Skills Adaptability Attention To Detail Auditing Coordinating Data Entry Payroll Management Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
