We are seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to join our growing team.
As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will provide exceptional customer service and support to our clients and their pets.
Primary responsibilities include greeting clients, scheduling appointments, managing phone calls, and assisting with administrative tasks.
Duties:
- Greet clients and their pets with a friendly and welcoming demeanor - Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar - Answer phone calls and address client inquiries or direct them to the appropriate staff member - Collect and update client information in our database - Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping - Process payments for services rendered - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
Experience:
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal-related environment is preferred - Knowledge of animal husbandry and basic medical collection procedures is a plus - Familiarity with kennel operations, animal care, and handling techniques is beneficial - Understanding of aseptic techniques for maintaining cleanliness in the clinic - Knowledge of dog training, equine care, pet grooming, and veterinary terminology is advantageous Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients - Strong organizational skills to manage appointment scheduling and administrative tasks efficiently - Attention to detail to accurately collect client information and process payments - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude - Compassion for animals and their owners, demonstrating empathy during difficult situations We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
