UnitedHealthcare Community & State, part of the UnitedHealth Group family of companies, is looking for an experienced Compliance Analyst to join our dynamic Compliance team for the Central Region of the country. Things are exciting at UHG as we are experiencing unprecedented growth, and looking for someone with the right stuff for our team at our Minneapolis location (although stellar internal candidates located at other UHG locations will also be considered).
The Compliance Analyst is an individual contributor role responsible for monitoring changes to laws and regulations to ensure compliance with State & Federal laws, regulations and mandates. This individual will help develop, implement and maintain the compliance program within UnitedHealthcare Community & State Operations in order to ensure that we are meeting company guidelines and CMS requirements. They will help establish and implement standard policies, procedures, processes and best practices across UnitedHealth Group to promote compliance with applicable laws and contractual obligations. The Compliance Analyst will support the Central Region team by working on multiple projects, handling requests and meeting deadlines. They will be supporting multiple health plans throughout the Central Region.

Responsibilities:
Conduct state-specific legal research
Monitor changes in requirements to mitigate risks and achieve compliance
Support the collection of data for regulatory filings
Monitor external regulatory audits
Create regulatory reporting
Develop compliance communications and drive problem resolution for a business segment across UnitedHealth Group
Requirements
Required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
3
years of experience working in a government, healthcare, managed care or health insurance environment
Intermediate or better proficiency using MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in written & verbal English
Ability to manage multiple projects
Ability to stay organized and use time management skills
Ability to work effectively and congenially with employees at all levels
Objective, collaborative approach; relationship builder who strives to build partnerships
Preferred
Qualifications:

years of experience in a FWA, regulatory or compliance role
3
years of experience and knowledge working with a Medicaid plan
