Role Description :
The candidate will work on a variety of batch processing and portal projects for the EPS agile application teams. Each agile team has approximately 7 developers and 6 QA resources.
Top 5-10 responsibilities for this position:
Evaluates business requirements and prepares detailed specifications that follow project guidelines required to develop written programs in an agile environment
Formulates, defines and documents the functional system specifications
Devises or modifies procedures that solve complex business problems with due consideration for hardware/software capacity and limitations, operating times and the desired results
Analyzes and revises existing functional documentation
Generates innovative ideas to resolve problems
Responsible for meeting or exceeding all defined target goals and milestone dates for the project in order to ensure its overall success

Qualifications
Software tools/skills needed to perform these daily
Responsibilities:
Rally (agile tool for managing user stories and tasks)
Experience working with test plans and test cases
Experience facilitating Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions
Proficiency with MS Office (Including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Proficiency with MS Project
Proficiency with MS Visio
Healthcare Industry experience
Skills/attributes that are a must have:
Excellent verbal and written communications at various level (business partners and analysts, developers, testers, support, etc.)
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 3 years of System Analysis/Development experience
Minimum 3 years of experience working in the different phases of development
Minimum 2 years of Relational Database experience
Minimum 2 years of writing system requirements
Understanding of data gathering/analysis
Knowledge of the Software(System) Development Life Cycle
Skills/attributes that are nice to have:
Agile team with Scrum experience is highly preferred
Previous testing experience
Axure for screen prototyping
HIPAA EDI file experience
This position requires the successful completion of a background investigation and/or drug screen.
